Let me take this opportunity to introduce myself to all of you on skyrock, and say how glad I am on being here.
E. L. Kelly is the name, I live in Montreal Qc. Author of the book “Spaces” published by; xlibris 2012. Also a songwriter/singer (unpub.) and I make my living as a bus driver
Onroadmoskill is a blog operating out of Mtl. Qc. Where this blogger and webmaster at; onroadmotorskill.com/wp/ My job on the road and highways in and around this city is for the most part the subject matter of my blogs as well as the book.
Montreal over the years as developed the enviable reputation as being one of the greatest and best city not only in Canada in which to live but maybe in all of north America.
It's French/English background (which can sometimes become the source for constant wrangling and irritation} mixed-in with a generous dash of language and cultures from all around the world provides a European ambiance right here in the heart of north America which never fail to entice Montrealers and all Quebecers as well as visitors to our fair city.
This is a city of world-class; museums, Festivals, and sightseeing among other great attributes, Montreal's smallness in size (in comparison to say; Toronto) should make for relatively easy getting around from one point to the next and from one event to the other, right? Well not quite.
Getting around in Montreal can be a real PITA. But it shouldn't have to be that way, and I do wonder sometimes why does we as citizen sit and accept all these crap which goes on here as if it's normal.
Well, some of us don't think it is normal and are willing to at least make an attempt at fostering change
Come along with us via these pages as we introduce you to this city and get you a bit more familiar with it, from the beautiful and noble to the weird and wacky. Stay tuned
